what an awesome day !!!
Aawww SHIT !! Patti in the house !! That is POWERHOUSE !! I have been busting ASS all week !! Awesome leg workout which lead me to have a limp for a few days !!
Leg Extensions 5 sets x 20 reps
Lying leg curls 4 sets x 15-20 reps
seated leg curls 4 x 15-20
Then one giant death set
Leg press >> squat >>> walking lunges oooowwwwwwww shoot me now !
finish with 3 sets of 30 crunches and same on leg raises.. aaaahhhhh feels good

assisted pullups 4 x 15
lat pull downs 3 x 15
1 arm row 3 x 12 35 # DB's :)
DB Bicep curls 2 x 12
cable bicep curl 3 x 15
cable hammer curl with rope 4 x 15
going to do my cardio today after my 4:00 client :) Starting my Lipotropic Plus so I can get the best possible results !! I'm really excited at how my body is responding to my workouts this week. It really does remember !!!

Dear Diary,
Dear Diary LOL,
i've been suckin at posting this week because I just have this nagging bug in me that wont hit me full force and just wants to linger and torture me !! Going strong and working out just going easy on cardio as my head feels like it weights 30 lbs !! SO Wednesday I did a back workout and Thursday I did a chest and tri workout -- or was it the other way around ??? hmmm either way it got done.. cant remember back workout - I have to get my workout journal and start writing it all down.. I focus much better when I write it down and can go back to my notes.. But chest day was awesome.. I hope I get my strength back fast cause benching with 20# DB is horrible for my self esteem !! I want my 35's back ! I did incline DB bench press, Flat bench press, cable crossovers ( felt sooooo good) I did 5 sets of 12 of each.. nice and slow,focus on form and hoping my body was waking up and saying "hey I remember this " triceps were ALOT of pushdowns and dips -- they give me the best definition so right now I'm going with what works to pump me back up LOL
Eats are getting better and more on track.. Eggs and oatmeal for breakfast with my oranges fresh of the tree in my backyard -- gotta love that!! Lunches have been chicken and veggies, and dinner pretty much the same right now... with some fish thrown in... This week is more focus on the food.. Of course I need to write it out so I can follow.. Snacks have been protein shakes as that is just easy for me now.. I'm sure I'm not telling you everything but once I get it all written out it will be much easier fo me to transfer it here.. Bear with me :)
So yesterday I took a girl I met thru a Cafemom site to LA Fitness to workout..(thats whos pic is above LOL) I love meeting people on the internet and getting together in person ... I have met alot of woman so far.. So I went to the gym with this young girl Nicole and her friend ummm cant remember her name??? We did back (again for me) and biceps... I'm hoping I gave Nicole a good workout and she is nice and sore today.. I got alot of pullups in so I was happy about that.. LOVE my pullups !! SO thats it now it is rest time for the weekend.. Eating healthy and drinking lots of water, taking extra Juice Plus+ so I can get rid of whatever bug is running rampant thru me !!
Off to show my hunny the new gym I'm training at and go walk around the mall for a bit then its home to do my 5K walk/run with the dogs woohoooooo

Transformation is IN PROGRESS !!
Hello PEOPLE !!!! OK the holiday bullshit for me and YOU are over !! whew we survived.. Have you thrown out all the shitty foods yet ??? I have I'm all cleared out !! I've got a shit load of chicken, oatmeal, fish, VEGGIES VEGGIE AND MORE VEGGIES !!!!! along with tuna, eggs, protein shakes and all my other supps !! I try to always update on the supplements I'm taking and as most of you know I have my own line of supplements and whats in the store is pretty much what I take !! SO GO check it out here !! Also my favorite supplement is the Juice Plus+ -- that I support and endorce with a passion.. YOU NEED YOUR FRIGGEN VEGGIES !!! and even though I eat alot I still dont/cant get in the amount that I need.
OK so enough of the little stuff --- we need to get SERIOUS !!! TRANSFORMATION is moving FOWARD !! I got started a bit back and I will call that my test drive cause NOW is the time !! Beginnning of the year -- even though I am sooo not the resolution type of girl --- I figure hey why not right ??
So I started Personal Training at California Athletic Club -- which seems like its going to work out very well for me !! Not like other pretty pretty gyms !! its good ol school kinda shit and thats sooooo me !!
Today after my clients I worked on ME ! Chest and Tris !! I took my time and went nice and slow and still got in my one hour of serious training.. Incline bench press, flat bench press, cable crossovers ( felt sooo good) and some DB Flys ..ALOT of rope extensions and dips for my tris and finished with 20 min incline treadmil.. Though my weights are a bit low -- lost alot of strength over this past year of my experiment !! But all is good the body remembers !! I'm on my way to get my body BACK !!
So for those of you who are "new" following me --- that is IF there is anyone following me ?? HELLO ?? hmmm ok well anyway I did my first Figure competition Nov 08 and won 3rd place.. After the comp life kinda did a little nose dive for a bit and I hadnt done any training all of 09 *gasp* So my personal experiment was for the whole year of 09 NOT to work out and just eat like a "normal" american.. Yea well ummm thanks America because I gained 15-20 POUNDS !! Sooo now 2010 is my live transformation for woman of ALL ages to see that getting fit and maybe beyond fit IS a do-able thing even when you have a family, job and all the bullshit that goes with it!!
So as of this very second you will be reading what I eat, how I workout, how/when I do cardio and pretty much hear me bitch, complain, struggle and ENJOY the step by step process -- I have the same struggles as everyone else.. My kids are older granted but I have a husband ( need i say more * wink* ) dogs, bills, job, stress and 5 adult kids ( 2 who are living with me ) who still WANT things from me and 2 grandchildren :) So whoever wants to jump aboard and join me and transform YOUR one body and life --come on!! I always like company !!

OK You said, "Wait till after the holidays Patti" so HERE I am !! woohooo ~ 2010 is THE year we ALL get healthy ! No if, and or buts !!
With many of the New Year’s resolutions people make, like “I’m giving up sweets,” or “I’m going to work out every day,” it’s no wonder that only 40% to 46% of people who make resolutions will be successful after six months. To make resolutions that will actually stick, I’ve included 10 ideas for resolutions you can actually keep.
1.Small changes = big results. Consider two simple diet substitutions—like a side salad instead of fries, crystal lite instead of Soda and dessert ONCE a week—rather than a complete overhaul of your lifestyle. Simple changes can add up to big health and weight-loss payoffs and are more likely to stick, compared to resolutions that are too restrictive.
2.Commit. You’ll be more likely to succeed if you write your goal down and put it where it’s visible. You’ll see and read it most days, and sharing your resolution with family and friends adds additional incentive to improve your chances of success.
3.Limit liquid calories. NO SODA !! Since beverages are less filling or satiating than food, limiting your liquid calorie count to 150 a day is one of the easiest ways to cut calories without increasing hunger. Aim for nutritional beverages like antioxidant-rich tea and 100% fruit juice.
4.Break the fast. EATING BREAKFAST IS A MUST ! Enjoy a daily breakfast of eggs, oatmeal and fruit to improve your diet, reduce caloric intake, and help with weight loss.
5.Snack smarter. Choose fruits and veggies as snacks for a big weight-loss payoff.
6.Make a list, check it twice. Make a grocery list for each shopping trip and stick to it to limit impulse purchases that may occur on the snack food aisle. And when you are in the grocery store, stick to the outer part of the store, where you’ll find fresh produce, lean protein, and whole grains. DO NOT take children to the grocery store ! They eat what YOU buy and prepare. Don’t let them decided or persuade bad choices.
7.Find your inner chef. Eating out less and trying to cook at home will slash calories and fat from your diet. BYE BYE FAST FOODS
8.Write off pounds. Those who track what they eat and how much they exercise lose more weight than those who don’t.
9.Find fitness that fits. Fitness resolutions are among the most likely to fail because they are too rigid and essentially impossible to achieve. Making fitness a part of your daily schedule will aid in your success. Do an activity that you love or try to sign up for fitness events—like 5K’s which are great for beginners – only 3 miles, 10Ks, marathons, or charity walks.
10.Have a fall-off-the-wagon plan. Have a strategy for when/if you cheat or break your resolution so that you can get back on track without derailing all of your efforts. Think progress, not perfection. Having a buddy helps with this plan.

HYDROXY NOT !!
Here we go again! Jeezzz, will it ever end? This madness over finding "the shortcut!" The magic pill! It's amazing... I guess new "suckers" are born every day.
Consumers using Hydroxycut products should immediately stop taking the dietary supplements, the Food and Drug Administration warned May 1, 2009, after receiving reports of serious health problems related to the drugs.
The dietary supplements --made by Iovate Health Sciences Inc. of Oakville in Ontario, Canada, and distributed by Iovate Health Sciences USA Inc. of Blasdell, N.Y. -- have been linked to one death and are associated with several serious liver injuries, the FDA said. Iovate has agreed to recall the products from the market.
The FDA has received 23 reports of serious health problems including jaundice, elevated liver enzymes and liver damage requiring liver transplant.
Other health problems reported included seizures, cardiovascular disorders and rhabdomyolysis, a type of muscle damage that can lead to other serious health problems such as kidney failure.
One death due to liver failure has been reported to the agency.
Liver injury was reported by patients taking the doses of Hydroxycut recommended on the bottle. Symptoms of liver injury include jaundice and brown urine, the FDA said. Other symptoms include nausea, vomiting, light-colored stools, excessive fatigue, weakness, stomach or abdominal pain, itching and loss of appetite.
“The FDA urges consumers to discontinue use of Hydroxycut products in order to avoid any undue risk," said Linda Katz, interim chief medical officer of the FDA's Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition.
Hydroxycut products are dietary supplements that are marketed for weight loss as fat burners, energy enhancers, low-carb diet aids and water loss. The list of products being recalled by Iovate includes:
